What a long couple of days, 2 days with no sleep and thousands of miles from home. Our flight was fairly uneventful, save for the young man seated next to me that decided to try a fairly often used sleep method, I assume. Drink yourself to sleep, while that may be a pleasant way to drop off for the individual, not so much for the guy sitting next to him in a small space. So I spent the night/morning trying to keep from being his pillow. During the fourth pushing him over I was ready to push him out of his seat, dangers of being in the aisle and drunk I guess. If we weren't halfway across the ocean I probably would've done it to. My luck he would've cracked his head on the arm of the seat across from him and we would've turned around. No thanks. After he woke up, as we were landing, I thought that I should've taken a picture of him asleep and then posted it on twitter or somewhere really visible. Next drunk I sit next to look out, I've got a plan!
Below is a picture of a Catholic priest in full robes eating homemade cookies from his suitcase. First time I've seen a Catholic priest in full robes at SLC airport and even funnier to see him eating homemade cookies, maybe his mother sent them. FYI, apparently these guys are getting hooked up like the brethern in the church office. He had an iphone and macbook.
